The IUPAC Global Women’s Breakfast was on everywhere February 27, 2024. The #GWB2024 map included 420 events from 77 countries and an estimated 40,000 participants worldwide. This makes for the largest ever GWB!

Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development

The International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development (IYBSSD) has been proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly and IUPAC is taking part in the celebrations!
The Year was officially inaugurated with an opening conference 8 July 2022 at UNESCO headquarters in Paris, and will run for a year+ of events and activities. IYBSSD will close at CERN/Geneva in December 2023. www.iybssd2022.org
